Know why diabetes is dangerous to you and how you can prevent it

 

   Diabetes is a health disorder which is caused by the excess of sugar level in blood. It is mainly called as Diabetes Mellitus. It is a case in which there is high level of blood sugar constantly for a long period of time. It is caused by the excess of carbohydrate in diet. It is mainly caused due to a hormone called insulin. When the pancreas doesn't produce enough insulin as well as when organs can't digest the insulin produced then, diabetes is caused.

   Diabetes has cause a lot of health disorder in a person. The person will be both mentally and physically sick due to diabetes.So, it is better to be aware of diabetes and future problems  it may cause.

Symptoms of Diabetes:


   There are various symptoms of diabetes which are caused according to severity of the diabetes. Generally in the starting phases of diabetes, following symptoms are observed:

1. A person suffer from constant and everlasting thirst. The thirst is prolonged for over long period of time and the tongue gets slightly dry than before. The person is constantly in need of water. This may even lead the person to dehydration which may bring forward other diseases also.

2. Even though the person is eating well, he/she can feel hungry and want to eat more food i.e. there is everlasting hunger in the person.

3. Yellowish urine is observed and it may contain traces of sugar also. If ants are around, they also gets attracted around the urine.

4. Fatigue occurs in most of the cases where the person always feels tired despite the work he/she has done and food they have eaten. The sugar level in the blood can't be maintained properly due to diabetes so, fatigue occurs.

5. Due to excess of sugar level in blood, the tissues near eyes and connecting eyes gets damages significantly. This causes a blurry vision in the person where the person don't see the things properly and it is hard for the person to focus his/her eyes to something.

   

   If you see any of these symptoms in you it is better for you to seek medical advice. Diabetes, when it enters in severe stage generally has no cure. The sugar level in blood can't be easily controlled and the person will have to compromise his daily diet and start eating a low-carbohydrate diet.
For the prevention of diabetes, following things can be done:

Prevention of Diabetes:


1. For decreasing the sugar level in your blood, you can have a diet low in carbohydrate. Eating brown rice and ignoring sugar in your tea/coffee can help you significantly. Its better to take sugar-free tablets in your tea rather than sugar in it. It will help in reducing sugar level in your blood.

2. Working out will also help to lower the sugar level in your blood significantly. Doing exercises to reduce your body fats, sugar level lowers the diabetes.

3. Certain types of medicines can also help you cure diabetes partially.(Diabetes has no total cure). It is better to take medical advises  when you find the symptoms of diabetes to prevent future problems it may cause.

   For decades now, Diabetes has been a growing health problem both in developing and developed countries. Many awareness programs are launched to prevent the problems that diabetes may cause.
